Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using WhatProblem AI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

WhatProblem AI is a GitHub application that helps clarify vague requirements through intelligent conversation. The Service operates within GitHub Issues to facilitate better communication between stakeholders. The Service uses third-party AI providers (Anthropic Claude and OpenAI) to process and analyze issue content.

By using the Service, you authorize WhatProblem AI to:

• Read issues and comments in your authorized repositories
• Post comments on issues to ask clarifying questions
• Post summary comments with extracted requirements
• Process issue content through AI services for analysis

3. Beta Service

WhatProblem AI is currently in beta. During the beta period:

• The first 100 installations receive 150 responses per month free
• Features and functionality may change
• Service availability is not guaranteed
• Data retention policies may be adjusted

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Service to generate harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Attempt to bypass any rate limits or access restrictions
• Use the Service in a way that could damage or impair its operation
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Submit sensitive or confidential information that should not be processed by third-party AI services
• Use the Service for any purpose other than clarifying GitHub issue requirements

5. Privacy and Data Usage

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy. You acknowledge that issue content will be processed by third-party AI services and stored on Google Cloud Platform infrastructure.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Williams Initiatives Ltd. and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL WILLIAMS INITIATIVES LTD. BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Service Infrastructure

The Service is hosted on Google Cloud Platform and integrates with GitHub through official GitHub App APIs. Service availability is dependent on the availability of these third-party platforms.
